  1. SCOPE

The aim of this document is to specify the aims of the quality, environment, safety and security policy that all the staff in the organisation must comply with at all times.

  1. Quality policy

The Management has formulated the Quality Policy and has identified it, for the whole organisation, with the transversal concept of "TQM" (Total Quality Management). This concept summarises all the activities inside and outside the company aimed at the continuous improvement of the quality and performance of all functions, in order to guarantee customers receive a product that can fully meet or even exceed their expectations, according to the requirements of cost-effectiveness and the constant search for innovative solutions. In general, it aims to create value for the parties involved that have an interest in the company.

ECSA Group has identified the following guidelines to pursue its objectives, linked to the context in which it operates:

In addition to ISO 9001:2015 certification, ECSA has obtained the following certifications over time:

Bio.inspecta provides for the control and certification of Bio [organic] products, ISO standards and food safety regulations.

The GDP certificate allows us to demonstrate to stakeholders that API products and excipients are distributed by applying Good Distribution Practices, in particular:

The RSPO certificate guarantees that our products () containing palm oil, palm kernel oil and its derivatives comply with all the criteria provided for by the above mentioned Organisation, at all stages of the supply chain, starting from the choice of products, to storage in our warehouses and resale to our customers.

The RSPO certification allows us to put on the market, in multiple application sectors, controlled and guaranteed products, thus generating a virtuous circle for the environment and for consumers, who benefit from the finished product.

FAMI-QS is a European quality management standard for additives for feeds and premixed feeds. In this respect, the ECSA Management is committed to ensuring that:

The International Sustainability & Carbon Certification - ISCC was one of the first schemes to be issued in Europe for the sustainability of products, along the entire supply chain, in the renewable energy sector, and is today one of the most widespread and recognized.
SCC (Acronym of International Sustainability & Carbon Certification) is an internationally recognized third-party certification linked to sustainability issues, born from the German experience with the sustainability objectives deriving from the RED directive (EU Directive 2009/28 / EC) for the use of biofuels and bioliquids.

It is focused on the fundamental concept that in order to guarantee the requirements of a product, its sustainability must be certified along the entire production chain, starting from sustainable raw materials and biomasses (materials of biological origin, often originating from agricultural waste). It is a voluntary product certification scheme, or rather a "supply chain", which allows to certify the sustainability of the product through the management of the requirements of sustainability, traceability and mass balance (Mass Balance) along the entire supply chain of the product itself, with a “chain of custody” principle.

With regard to compliance with the Product Stewardship directive, the company is committed to guaranteeing products are correctly managed from purchase to sale through indicators established by the Management. These indicators are:

The selection of service providers is performed considering their capacity to suitably manage Q/E/S/Security aspects.

For the protection of the environment and the safety of workers and security, ECSA has applied for and obtained a SQAS certificate. SQAS (Safety & Quality Assessment for Sustainability) is a third party system to assess the performance of distributors of chemicals. SQAS assessments cover Quality, Safety, Protection, Environment and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). SQAS is not a certification but an assessment formulated against the standards of the chemical industry in Europe.

In addition, ECSA is a signatory of the Safety Charter by which it is committed to ensuring compliance with safety rules in the workplace.
